Crashing off the bridge on the bike course at XTERRA Nevada and finishing the race with a separated shoulder.

1. Finishing Xterra Nevada as my very first triathlon at age 55
2. My 1:56 Half Marathon PR 17 months after a heart attack
3. Finishing the Pikes Peak Marathon in under 8 hours.

XT: What's your favorite aspect of XTERRA?
The friendliness and camaraderie of the competitors whether one is a pro or a beginner.

Fun, friendly, hard work, rewarding, scary and challenging all at the same time.
