What accomplishment are you most proud of:
Managing my lifestyle enough to be able to have fun and stay super healthy and still love it all.

When you're not racing, you like to?
Take photographs, drink good beer, climb, cook, and hike.

What's the craziest experience you've ever had with XTERRA?
I raced in XTERRA Saipan and XTERRA New Zealand on back-to-back weekends in 2006.  I took 5 different flights to get from Saipan to Auckland and then I drove to Rotorua.

In Maui, an antlered deer literally jumped right over my head during the race.  Yikes!

What's the best thing about racing?
The people. I always look forward to the stories and friends after it's all done.

What is the coolest piece of gear you own?
My bike, BMC Fourstroke 01.

Role model/Inspiration/Favorite athlete:
Jamie Whitmore and my high school coach Phil Wilder.

Which 2010 XTERRA races do you plan to attend?
XTERRA REAL, XTERRA Del Valle, XTERRA Solstice, XTERRA Tahoe City, XTERRA Portland, and XTERRA Lake Tahoe.

Favorite XTERRA venue:  It's a tie between Saipan and Incline Village.

Dreaded XTERRA venue: I don't dread one, but XTERRA Czech kicked my butt.

What's your favorite aspect of XTERRA?
The people I get to race with are like another family. It's great to be able to relate with XTERRA athletes about our accomplishments and challenges.  Everywhere I travel, the XTERRA family has always been welcoming.
