Play XBOX Live.
What's the craziest experience you've ever had with XTERRA (traveling, racing or training)?
It was my first year of triathlon. A friend told me about XTERRA. So, I went and bought a mountain bike and pedals a couple days before the race. Long story short, I won the award for the nastiest spill. I achieved that by flying down a dirt road section and approached a left turn. Not knowing how to ride a bike, I squeezed the front brake really hard and went flying over the handle bars while still being clipped in. I still have the scars on my back and will gladly show them off if you ask to see them.
What's the best thing about racing?
The feeling of Accomplishment.
What is the coolest piece of gear you own?
My road bike… ha, I kid, I kid. I would have to say my Kuat Racks hitch rack. It has a freakin' telescoping bike clamp built in!

Define / Describe XTERRA:
Break out of the mold. Step outside the box. We're all triathletes because we wanted to try something new and exciting. XTERRA is our opportunity to stretch that escape into something more radical. To try something else new and exciting.
