Why run when you can scramble at Otter Creek
Excerpt from: Courier-Journal.com
If you are looking for a new kind of running event, you may want to make your way to Otter Creek Park Sunday for a trail run called the Xterra Scramble. Expect to get dirty, dusty or muddy or maybe all three as you navigate woodland trails, run on paved roads, climb hills, jump over rocks and cross streams in a race that's meant to put fun back into your running. Xterra, which is known for its triathlons, started holding trail runs called scrambles last year. This year, they have developed a whole series of scrambles. If you get hooked by the Otter Creek Xterra Scramble, there will be several more close by. As part of the Ohio Valley Point Series there will be a scramble on May 13 in Indianapolis and another on Oct. 7 in Cincinnati. Full story .gif)
