XTERRA Getting Ready to Flood Philly with Runners

RACE #1 IN THE 2008 XTERRA PHILLY TRAIL RUN SERIES

XTERRA is preparing to overrun the Philadelphia area with the off-road, adventure-filled XTERRA Warwick Park Revenge Trail Run 5k on May 7 in Pottstown, PA.

Bringing Chester County a taste of its adrenaline rushing, off-the-beaten-path trail runs, XTERRA invades Pottstown for the first race in the 2008 XTERRA Philly Series. Within the 538-acre Warwick Park, a mixture of unstable gravel roads, lush grass fields and muddy dirt trails will challenge athletes as they trek over 3 miles of beautiful wooded terrain.

Whether the runners come out aiming to set a new personal record or maybe they are simply out for a fun family event, the XTERRA Warwick Park Revenge Trail Run offers something for everyone.

The first of five races in the 2008 XTERRA Philly Series, runners will be eager to start their series total with top points. With the chance to win free entry to the XTERRA National Trail Running Championship on September 27 in Bend, OR, the stakes will be high for these athletes. From there runners will have the opportunity to compete in the XTERRA Trail Running World Championship at the beautiful Kualoa Ranch December 7 in Hawaii.
