Along with the other age group winners, they will be invited to race for free at the XTERRA Trail Running National Championship on September 27 in neighboring Bend, Oregon. Having been called “America’s Best Trail Running Town” by the editors of Outside Magazine, Bend will attract competitors from across the country to compete in the biggest event of the XTERRA Trail Run Series.

Krissy Preim-Smith has already registered for the XTERRA Trail Run Nationals and is looking forward to the “chance to run with the best-of-the-best in such an amazing place. Bend is a gorgeous location, and I am positive that I am going to get an opportunity to run with some phenomenal athletes.”

After Nationals, runners will be able to compete in the first-ever XTERRA Trail Running World Championship on December 7 over a spectacular course on Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii. For more information, visit www.xterratrailrun.com.
