European Tour Champs Crowned

It took both Olivier Marceau and Renata Bucher just four races to build insurmountable leads to secure this year’s XTERRA European Tour Championships. It’s the second straight title for Marceau, and another highlight in what has been a remarkable rookie season for Bucher.

America's Laura Home earned 290 points to win the amateur 30-34 division. Barbara Peterson won the 45-49 age group title with 300 points, while Devyani Kamdar earned 100 points at Spain to take third in that division. Ed Hudcovic picked up 190 points in Czech and Austria to nab the men's 60-64 title. Leigh Plowman posted a respectable third-place win with a total of 222 points at Czech, Austria and Spain.
