The UN Ltd. Team behind XTERRA Malta is a small group of passionate people that care about the environment and human experience. We believe that our challenges should be seen as a personal journey, and not a race against a competitor. We hope that you will appreciate our informal approach, flexibility and somewhat limited resources in organising such an event, which is surely made up for by our tireless energy and positive attitude. We also trust that you will extend this sportsmanship to your fellow competitors if you see they are in need.

XTERRA Malta Gozo Trail Runs & Comino Swim-Run

Also organised by the UN Ltd. team, the Gozo Trail Runs take part in May. You can check out the event details here. In September the UN Ltd. team puts on the Comino Swim-Run, check it out here.

What do I need to present to get my race pack ? Can I pick up for my friends?

Pls have your QR code on your phone ready to scan (no need to print). This will be on the confirmation email you received when you booked from Active.com.

If you are picking up bags for your friends have them send you their booking confirmation from Active

How can I get to the race venue?

You can drive there and park in the designated areas found in the vicinity. Alternatively you may use public transport, or one of the many taxi services on the island to get to the destination: Golden Bay.

Can I rent a mountain bike ?

Yes you can contact https://thecyclistmalta.com/ for info on bike rental. The Cyclist is also the official race mechanic and will be present on Friday and Saturday to assist with your bike needs.

Where can I leave my bags during the race?

You can leave your bags with the XTERRA team at HQ. While we will be present on site we cannot guarantee the security of your valuables since we will be on a public beach.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

You can transfer your registration to another athlete through the Active.com system. When you transfer your entry, the other person you are transferring to will be asked to purchase your ticket at the price of that day and the original ticket holder will receive a refund on the credit card they used to pay for their registration. This is the ONLY way to transfer your ticket, you may NOT give your number to someone else on the day. We need full registration details of the person actually racing.

I cannot race on the day or I need to change my original race ?

We are sorry to hear you are unable to race and whilst we understand your frustration we cannot refund your entry. If you decide in advance of the race you may switch to another event or category through Active.com. If this option is closed then you are too close to the race for us to be able to move you. You may also transfer your entry to someone else through the system.
