Throughout the week, multiple MTB and running clinics will offer athletes the valuable opportunity to get onto the course and tackle some of the technically challenging sections under the guidance of some of the best in the sport. These clinics are designed to equip athletes with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently conquer the World Championship course on race day. All coaches are certified, experienced, and friendly, providing guidance in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and Dutch. Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability, with ladies-only clinics available on select days. Check the schedule below for clinic times and available languages, and come learn from some of XTERRA’s top athletes.
Choose between a MTB Skills Clinic, or a Course Ride with a coach. Note that availability for the Skills Clinic is limited, and pre-booking is essential (see below).
MTB Course Ride with Coach
Pre-ride the bike course with an XTERRA coach/Elite athlete for tips, best-line advice, and live demonstrations for each section of the full-distance triathlon bike course. Whether you're a beginner looking to master the basics or an experienced rider, our clinic offers expert guidance tailored to all skill levels.
MTB Skills Clinic
The MTB Skills Clinic is designed for seasoned riders looking to refine their MTB handling techniques. Participants will receive expert instruction from certified and experienced coaches and will take place on the XTERRA Short Track Course.
Note: Limited slots are available (12 per session) so athletes will have to secure their spots by going to Active's My Events under “Additional Purchases.” This is a free activity, but booking is required, and only registered athletes will be allowed to participate. Participants will also be requested to sign a waiver on site.
What to bring: For the course ride or skills clinic, bring your helmet, Bike shoes, Suitable clothing for the conditions, spare innertube and tools.
Leading up to the race, a run clinic will be held to give participants the chance to experience the run section of the full-distance triathlon under the guidance of an XTERRA Elite athlete.
What to bring: Trail shoes, and suitable clothing for the conditions.
Where to meet: All running and MTB clinics will begin outside the XTERRA Shop.
