The 2024 XTERRA World Championship kicks off live with the Short Track Triathlon on September 26 as the penultimate race of the 2024 XTERRA World Cup Series.

The 15th XTERRA Trail Run World Championship was held at Sugarloaf Mountain on September 1, drawing participants from 28 countries. Caitlin Patterson (USA) won the women's Full Marathon with a time of 4:11:06, Grant Colligan (USA) clinched the men's title in 3:34:45. In the Half Marathon, Corey Dowe (USA) led the women in 2:06:44, while Rémi Leroux (CAN) secured the men's victory in 1:51:06. These races were the culmination of the 2024 XTERRA Trail Run World Series, spanning multiple continents and countries.

The 15th XTERRA Trail Run World Championship returns to Sugarloaf Mountain this Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 1, 2024.

Marking its return as the 18th stop on the 2024 XTERRA Americas Tour, XTERRA Costa Rica introduces a fresh course and venue for an off-road racing weekend on August 24-25.

The 18th stop on the 2024 XTERRA EMEA Tour took place at the Zittau Mountains Nature Park on August 17, featuring Arthur Serrières (FRA) and Anna Zehnder (CHE) as winners of the elite men’s and women’s Full Distance races, respectively.

The 2024 XTERRA European Championship, held on August 10, doubled as Stop #6 of the XTERRA World Cup Series. Loanne Duvoisin (CHE) and Arthur Serrières (FRA) triumphed in the Full Distance Race, each securing 100 points toward their series totals.

PRACHATICE, CZECH REPUBLIC - The 2024 XTERRA European Championship on August 10 takes on additional significance as Stop #6 of the 2024 XTERRA World Cup Series. Known for its rich cultural heritage and historic settings, Prachatice has been a pivotal location in the XTERRA’s history, dating back over two decades.

On July 21, 2024, the XTERRA European Trail Run Championship was held in the Pyrenees, attracting trail runners from across Europe and beyond. In the 36K Trail Marathon, the winners were Martí Lázaro Cordero (ESP) and Roser Español Bada (ESP), while the 24K Half Marathon was led by Fabián Venero Jiménez (ESP) and Laura Orgue Vila (ESP).

On July 20-21, the untamed beauty of the Pyrenees will be conquered, not just admired. Selfie sticks will give way to trail running poles, and tour groups will be replaced by scores of Europe’s toughest competitors, each battling for the title of 2024 XTERRA European Trail Run Champion.

XTERRA Québec marked its 10th anniversary in off-road triathlon by hosting Stop #5 of the 7-Stop 2024 XTERRA World Cup from July 12-14. Solenne Billouin (FRA) and Arthur Serrières (FRA) earned Full Distance Race victories and the maximum 100 points apiece. ‍The spectator-friendly XTERRA Short Track Triathlon on July 12 maintained its reputation as an intense racing format with Solenne Billouin (FRA) and Felix Forissier (FRA) taking away 75 points each to maintain their leads atop the 2024 XTERRA World Cup standings. 

MANOIR DU LAC DELAGE, QUÉBEC, CANADA — On its 10th anniversary, XTERRA Québec joins the XTERRA World Cup on July 12-14, 2024. Commemorating a decade of off-road triathlon in Canada, the venue at Manoir du Lac Delage catapults itself onto the world stage as Stop #5 in the 7-Stop XTERRA World Cup series, highlighting some of the world’s best mountain bike trails.

Jens Emil Sloth Nielsen (DNK) and Sandra Mairhofer (ITA) continued their impressive 2024 XTERRA seasons, emerging victorious at XTERRA France. The 17th annual off-road Full Distance race under the Vosges mountains took place on Sunday, July 7th.

XONRUPT, VOSGES, FRANCE — XTERRA France gears up for its 17th annual off-road triathlon, set in the scenic Vosges mountains and Lake Longemer. The Full Distance race on Sunday, July 7th, is the 13th stop of the 2024 XTERRA EMEA Tour and a crucial qualifier, offering 58 World Championship slots for age groupers setting their sights on the XTERRA World Championship in Trentino, Italy, on September 28, 2024.

XTERRA Switzerland marked the 11th stop of the 2024 XTERRA EMEA Tour on June 22, 2024. Valentin Rouvier (FRA) and Bianca Morvillo (ITA) were victorious in the valley beneath the Neuchâtel mountains.

XTERRA Switzerland is set to make its second appearance in the heart of the Neuchâtel mountains for the 11th stop of the 2024 XTERRA EMEA Tour on June 22, 2024. 

The fourth stop of the 2024 XTERRA World Cup took place on June 8, 2024 with Jens Emil Sloth Nielsen (DNK) and Sandra Mairhofer (ITA) clinching victories.

The historic Citadel of Namur provides the backdrop for the Stop #4 of the 2024 XTERRA World Cup.

Paola Morales (COL) and Alejandro Guzmán Medina (COL) were the Elite Women's and Men's Full Distance race winners, respectively. In addition to the Elite competition, XTERRA Colombia offered 28 age-grouper qualifying slots for the XTERRA World Championship in Italy this September.

May 26, 2024 marks a major milestone on the XTERRA World Tour as XTERRA Colombia launches its inaugural event. This Full Distance off-road triathlon, set in the high altitudes of Paipa, Boyacá, introduces athletes to the highest elevation start of the season at 8,000 feet (approx. 2,500 meters) above sea level, testing their endurance and acclimatization to challenging race conditions.
