What is the best way to travel to Banska Stiavnica?

Plane
You can choose between Vienna and Bratislava airport, both are within 2 hours from the race venue.
Car
Banská Štiavnica is very close to several highways. If you're coming from Bratislava, we recommend using D1 and R1 highways. Coming from east, R2 and R1 are your best choice. Last 20 km will be on smaller national roads.
How can I get to the start of the race?

You can ride your bike. From Banska Stiavnica to the Kolpasske lake it is only 8 kilometers on flat road.
You can drive your car. We have two car parking slots to accommodate all cars and athletes.
Youth age-groups

If you or your kids want to race in the XTERRA Youth series and fight for the XTERRA World Championship qualification slots it is necessary to register and race in the correct race.
Youth A 14 - 15 years old (age on 31.12.2026) - XTERRA Super Sprint
Youth B 16-17 years old (age on 31.12.2026) - XTERRA Sprint
Juniors 18-19 years old (age on 31.12.2026) - XTERRA Sprint
Important note: Athletes are sorted into age-groups by the age reached on 31.12.2026 - NOT by current age on the race day!
In each age-group TOP 5 girls and boys will recieve the qualification slots (by email).
