Dunsborough Country Club (map)
If you want a piece of the action and are eager to experience the fun of off-road racing in a slightly shorter race format – the XTERRA Sprint Triathlon in beautiful Dunsborough is the race for you! We welcome athletes of all abilities – from whippets who race the short and fast like a race car, through to novices and juniors who are new to off-road racing and want an easier alternative. This also serves as a qualifier race for XTERRA Youth Championship.
This is a Youth World Championship Qualifier race. Slots will be offered to the top 5 male and female athletes of the following Youth Divisions:

Additionally, as a qualifier for the Youth World Championship, the top five male and female finishers in each division will earn slots for the pinnacle race of the Youth World Tour.
All age categories are according to your age on December 31st, 2025.

Sprint Distance price is AUD$12.50
For information on the benefits of the license, you can refer to the 2024 AusTriathlon Terms of One-Day License.pdf.
Note the following about the wave starts:
Competitors will voluntarily divide yourselves into either wave start:
The 'racer start' is for those who are here to race and who are more confident swimmers and MTBers
The 'recreational start' is for more novice competitors who may be nervous about a mass swim start or who are less experienced swimmers and MTBers
The start line will be at least 60m wide so will allow plenty of space for swimmers spread out.
The start will be in deep water so there is no running into the water, minimising any swim start turmoil.
The first turn buoy is a significant distance away so there is time to spread out before the first turn buoy.
