Race Course Open for Practice
The Elite only Short Track event at the XTERRA WORLD CUP will showcase an exciting showdown between the top 30 men and top 30 women competitors. This race is known for its fast and furious pace, offering a spectacle for viewers and an even more intense experience for the competitors! In 2025 the race is coming bacak to Kristanovicky Lake - the place where Short Track was born back in 2019.

The prize money will be paid in cash after the race in (in Euros) and is distributed equally between the women and men.
The first four XTERRA Short Track events will host up to 30 athletes in both men's and women's categories, with the events for men and women being held separately.
Short Track athlete selection uses the most up-to-date World Cup standings.
When a Short Track event takes place after a Full Distance event, selection is completed within two (2) hours of the final finisher of that event.
The Short Track field is selected using the top 20 in the World Cup standings, plus 10 wildcards.
