Warning: we remind that in order to participate to XTERRA races in Italy it is necessary to have a card from one's own national triathlon federation. For those who do not have it, a daily membership can be made; it requires the presentation of the medical certificate of suitability for competitive triathlon sports issued by an authorized Italian structure. REGISTRATION
Registrations are accepted exclusively through the Active.com portal. The procedure for daily membership will be completed on-site at the race secretariat by submitting the original paperwork for membership and a copy of the competitive triathlon medical certificate, which must be presented in its original form. Failure to meet any of the necessary requirements for participation in the race will disqualify the athlete from participating in the event without the possibility of a refund of the registration fee. The registration fee includes: accident and RCT insurance, medical assistance, swim cap, bib, MTB plate, tattoos and stickers, timing chip rental, race pack (XTERRA shirt and backpack), finisher medal for all participants who complete the race, post-race refreshments, and Saturday night party. Registration deadline is October 5, 2024.

RACE OFFICE
The secretariat will open on Friday, October 11th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, October 12th, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM (until 11:45 AM for the full distance), and on Sunday, October 13th, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, located at the reception of the Garden Beach Hotel in Cala Sinzias, Castiadas (SU).

PARKING
Participants are advised to park at the Garden Beach Hotel parking lot in Cala Sinzias, Castiadas (SU).

TIMING
Timing and rankings will be measured using a system based on an active transponder (chip), which will be handed out upon race pack collection. The chip should be attached to the ankle with a bracelet provided and matched to the participant's race number. Tampering with the chip is strictly prohibited. Athletes who damage the chip in any way will not be timed and will not appear in the rankings. Please note that the race number and corresponding timing chip are strictly personal and non-transferable. Using another competitor's chip during the race will result in disqualification. At the end of the race, the chip must be returned in the designated area, even by athletes who withdrew or did not start. The chip is only usable for the event for which it was programmed. Failure to return the chip obliges the athlete to return it to Sardegna X Sports by October 30, 2024. Failure to return the chip will result in a debt of €25 with the organization, which reserves the right to charge it to the registration for the following year or to seek compensation from the registered athlete or their affiliated sports club.

AID STATIONS
There will be an aid station at the exit of T1 and T2.

HEALTHCARE ASSISTANCE
A Medical Area will be set up near the finish area with direct access to it. Additionally, a first aid station will be set up on the beach. There will be three ambulances with respective staff and two doctors stationed at strategic points along the route, as well as a team from the Alpine Rescue Service.

ROAD SAFETY
All roads crossed by the event will be completely closed to traffic, and every intersection and crossing will be monitored and manned by organization staff.
