The Long Distance Triathlon has a specially designed course, making it the first ever "made for gravel bike" triathlon in Czech Republic, and also to be faster on the gravel than on classic mountain bike. The remote transition area on the opposite shore of the Lipno lake make this race unique. Horni Plana (start) and Blizsi Lhota (transition area, finish) are connected by the ferry boat, with free ticket for all competitors and supporters! Enjoy this pure and long distance experience in the wonderful nature of the Sumava mountains!

There is no alternative standings for gravel bikes and mountain bikes. It is only athletes’ choice which bike will he or she prefer.
There is no Elite prize money on that race.

CANCELATION POLICY:
Cancellation by Participant:
If a participant wishes to cancel their registration for the triathlon event, they must notify the event organizers in writing via email or through the official registration platform.
Refunds will be provided according to the following schedule:
Cancellation more than 120 days before the event: Full refund minus a processing fee.
Cancellation between 119 to 60 days before the event: 50% refund of the registration fee.
Cancellation less than 60 days before the event: No refund will be provided.
Cancellation by Event Organizers:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other situation beyond the control of the organizers, the event may be canceled or postponed.
If the event is canceled by the organizers, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and efforts will be made to reschedule the event.
If rescheduling is not possible, participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to a future event or receive a partial refund of 20%, taking into account any unrecoverable costs incurred by the organizers.
Transfers and Substitutions:
Participants may transfer their registration to another individual or defer their entry to a future event, subject to approval by the event organizers and any applicable transfer fees.
Force Majeure:
The event organizers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if the delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, or natural disasters.
By registering for the triathlon event, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this cancellation policy.
The race is sanctioned with Czech triathlon federation rules.
Expected water temperatures between 18 – 22 Celsius. From 22 Wetsuits allowed.
The race headquarters is on the beach in small village Blizsi Lhota in hotel Knizeci cesta. There is a huge car park near the race venue, follow XTERRA signs to the parking lot. The race bag pick-up will be in a large tent day before the race and also in the morning before the race. Check schedule for detail times.
Get your race bag first. Put your bike plate on your handlebars, your paper bib number is required only for the run part of the race. It must be put on your front. You must use provided swim cap. Don’t forget to put timing chip on any leg. Don’t hide it with wetsuit or any type of socks. Come in advance to be able to put your gear to the transition area in Blizsi Lhota in race venue. Start of the race is in Horni Plana on the opposite shore of the Lipno lake, you can take ferry boat for free to get there very fast!
