Direct qualifiers at this year's event will have the choice to take a slot for either 2025 or 2026, while slots awarded by roll-downs and bonus slots will only be for 2026. For questions or queries related to World Championship entries, please contact [email protected].

There will be 2 transition zones for triathlon formats and 1 transition zone for duathlon formats.

For duathlons, all the activities including both T1 & T2 transitions will take place at the main site of Olympic Equestrian Park.

For triathlons, the swim start and T1 swim-bike transition will have a specific transition zone at Lake Bromont beach. The T2 bike-run transition will take place on the main site of Olympic Equestrian Park.

Logistics for triathlon athletes : after parking, registration and preparing equipment for T2 bike-run transition, athletes will have to ride an easy 1,5 km to Lake Bromont beach with their swim and bike equipment to prepare T1 transition and swim start. At T1 swim-bike transition, all swimming equipment will have to be put in a bag identified with Bib number that will be brought back to the main site by the organization.

As there will be a shuttle between both site for spectators and followers, it will be possible for athletes to leave their swim-bike equipement to a friend or family member taking the shuttle when he will be riding to the Lake Bromont beach. There will be no bike allowed in the shuttle.

Yes, there will be a shuttle between Olympic Equestrian Park and Lake Bromont beach for spectators and followers. It will be a 2,0 km (5 minutes) bus travel in both ways approximately every 15-20 minutes.

There will be no bike allowed in the shuttle.

It will be possible for followers to take on board athletes swim-bike equipement (except the bike) to bring it to the Lake Bromont beach while athletes are riding their bike up to there.

Yes, there will 28 slots available.

Winners in their category for the standard triathlon format have the opportunity to earn a place at the 2024 or 2025 XTERRA World Championships.

Each first place winner in each XTERRA Bromont category will receive a certificate. Registration and payment of all fees must be completed prior to qualification. If you do not win your event, you may be invited by e-mail in the weeks following the event. Some qualification places will be awarded by a “roll down”.

A team of 80 volunteers is needed to put on this entire weekend. Join us and be part of the most memorable off-road triathlon experience you and the racers can have. All volunteers make a difference in making this type of event unfold in a beautiful way. The main site for all the event will be at Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park located at 450 chemin de Gaspé in Bromont. The parking for all participants will be on this vast site. This will also be the parking and registration site for triathlon participants who take the swim start at Lake Bromont beach.

From Montreal (1 hour drive)
Autoroute 10 east direction Sherbrooke, take exit 74 Rte Pierre-Laporte South (2,0 km), turn left on chemin Granby (2,5 km), continue on chemin des Carrières (1,9 km), turn right on chemin de Gaspe (1,8 km). The Olympic Equestrian Park will be on the left before chemin Gale.

From Quebec (2.5 hours drive) or Sherbrooke (45 minutes drive)
Autoroute 10 west direction Montreak, take exit 78 boul. Bromont (2,5 km), turn right on Montreal street (1,0 km), turn left on chemin de Gaspe (3,5 km). The Olympic Equestrian Park will be on the left before chemin Gale.

RACE CHANGE

You can decide at any time to change races at any time until August 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Same participant toward another race
A fee of $25 plus the difference in fees for the new event if applicable.

Procedure
This option is available directly in your Active account. However, it is not applicable if ever we are at maximum capacity in the new race requested at the time of the change.

EVENT CHANGE

You can decide at any time to change to another XTERRA Quebec Series event (XTERRA Tremblant or XTERRA Quebec if applicable) until August 11, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Same participant to another applicable event in 2024 (XTERRA Tremblant or XTERRA Quebec)
A fee of $50 plus the fee difference for the new event if applicable.

Procedure
This option is available directly in your Active account. However, it is not applicable if ever we are at maximum capacity in the new race requested at the time of the change.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER

You can decide at any time to transfer your registration to another person for an XTERRA Quebec race until August 11, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Change of participant

Solo participant: $50 fee

Team Participant: $25 fee per participant

If the replacement participant requests to register for a different race, the difference in fees for the new race must be added, if applicable.

Procedure : 

Available directly in your Active account for solo participants.

Not applicable if the new person requests a change of event and we are at maximum capacity in the new event requested at the time of the change.

REGISTRATION DEFERRAL

Whatever the reason

You can at any time decide to postpone your registration to the 2024 edition of XTERRA Tremblant until August 11, 2024.

The deferral fee before this date is $60.

You must email us at [email protected] to request your deferral. Fees must be paid by August 11, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. for the deferral to be effective.

Medical reason only

After August 13, it is always possible to defer a registration, but only with the presentation of a medical note which specifies that it is impossible for you to participate in the race.

The fee to carry over to 2025 after August 13 is $80.

The transaction must be completed no later than August 25, 2024 at 8 p.m.

REFUND

You can request a partial refund until August 11, 11:59 p.m. by emailing us your request at [email protected]. The refund, regardless of the reason, is 25% of the amount of your registration.

No refund possible from August 12, 2024.

Note that taxes, online registration fees and Triathlon Québec fees are non-refundable and are also extra in all our policies if applicable.

CANCELLATION

XTERRA Bromont, in conjunction with city officials, public health officials and local police, has the power to cancel one or more of the races for emergencies, including, but not limited to, inclement weather, bad weather or a terrorist threat. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be offered as funds will have been spent in preparation for the event.

CANCELLATION BY PUBLIC HEALTH

Policy in effect until April 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

If the event should be canceled due to public health reasons, here are the options available to you:

• Postponement of your registration for XTERRA Bromont 2025 free of charge.

  • Transfer your registration to XTERRA Tremblant or XTERRA Quebec 2024 by paying the price difference if the rate is higher.

  • Receive a 75% refund of the amount paid and get a 15% discount applicable on your registration for XTERRA Bromont 2025.

***Note that the 15% discount on registration fees in 2025 is applicable only for new registrations with payment and will be added to any other promotion in effect.
