Join us for FREE guided community hikes led by experienced local guides from Happy Hiker, offering a memorable way to explore the stunning landscapes of the Sierra Blanca Mountains. These family-friendly hikes welcome XTERRA athletes, families, friends, and the Ruidoso community for a shared outdoor experience that celebrates connection, nature, and adventure.
Along the way, knowledgeable guides will share insights about the region’s unique terrain and ecosystem while leading participants through scenic trails where wildlife sightings may include elk, deer, and even wild horses. With routes ranging from approximately 3–4 miles, these hikes are designed to be accessible to a variety of ages and ability levels, making them a great way to experience the beauty that defines Ruidoso.
