CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Morning classes: Wake up and Prepare for the Day!
Beginning with mindful moments and breathwork, Gillian leads students in a yoga practice to open and stabilize the body and mind. Focusing primarily on shoulder and hip mobility, this breath-led practice includes Sun Salutations, standing postures, and core work. With the chill October mountain air, morning sessions will take place indoors at the Blue Lotus Yoga Studio.
Evening classes: Wind-down and Stretch
Whether you're prepping for the race or cheering competitors on, join Gillian in this centering and stretchy wind-down to release tension from your day. Expect prone and seated stretches, and some standing and balance postures. The evening sessions will take place at the Downshift Brewing outdoor back patio.
ABOUT GILLIAN
Whether you're prepping for the race or cheering competitors on, join Gillian in this centering and stretchy wind-down to release tension from your day. Expect prone and seated stretches, and some standing and balance postures. The evening sessions will take place at the Downshift Brewing Company outdoor back patio.
Gillian began yoga in her early 20s to heal chronic pain and anxiety, evolving into a 30-year practice and teaching since 2013. She offers an anatomy-informed approach that builds strength, stability, and mobility. Known for her clear, warm, and accessible teaching, Gillian helps students quiet the mind and connect to the body. She teaches a range of styles and workshops for diverse populations, including healthcare and body workers, and training and continuing education for yoga teachers. Based in Ruidoso, New Mexico, she leads classes and trainings nationwide.
