Race Briefings

Please ensure that you make time to attend the briefing for your race, as important course and safety topics will be covered. Race briefing times and locations are included in the schedule.

Full Distance and Sprint Triathlons:

The race briefing will be held at 16:30 on Friday, March 27th at the Dunsborough Country Club.

Trail Runs:

The trail run race briefing will be held at 17:50 on Saturday, March 28th at the Dunsborough Country Club.

Community Course Sessions

In the run-up to race day, XTERRA Certified coaches will lead various reconnaissance swim, mountain bike and trail run adventures on the race course. This is an unrivaled chance to explore the course with an expert coach and ask all those pre-race questions you might have ahead of the race day.

All community swim, bike, and run sessions are free and available for all registered XTERRA Asia-Pacific Championship athletes. The meeting point for all sessions will be at Dunsborough Country Club at the Event Village.

What to bring:
Swimsuit and goggles for the swim
Bike and helmet for the bike
Trail shoes and adequate water for the run

Race Equipment Checklist

The race organisers leave it up to the competitors to decide on what they will need to finish the race (hydration and nutrition), but below is the recommended gear list:

  • First Aid Kit

  • Snake Bandage

  • Mobile Phone

  • Water Container (Soft flask recommended - no cups at water points)
