General Information
Date: November 21.
Start Time: 12:00 PM (to be confirmed).
Location: Solaz Beach.
Distances:
Swim: 300 m
Bike: 6 km
Run: 2 km
Registration
Registration Deadline: November 20.
Age Requirement: Participants must be between 9 and 15 years old.
Identification: A photo ID belonging to a parent or legal guardian is required to pick up the child’s race packet.
Race Day Schedule
Race Start: 12:00 PM (to be confirmed).
Race Rules
Swim: Participants must complete the designated 300 m swim course and follow all instructions from lifeguards and race officials.
Bike: A bicycle and properly fastened helmet are mandatory throughout the 6 km bike course. Drafting and outside assistance are not permitted.
Run: Participants must complete the marked 2 km run course. Comfortable athletic shoes are required.
Race Number: The race number must remain visible during the bike and run portions of the event.
Transition Area: Only registered participants and authorized event staff may enter the transition area.
Safety Rules
Supervision: Parents or guardians must remain in the event area throughout the race.
Safety Personnel: Lifeguards, security personnel, medical staff and volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to assist participants.
Hydration: Water stations will be available at designated points along the course.
Required Equipment: Participants must have appropriate swimwear, a bicycle in safe working condition, a properly fitted helmet and running shoes.
Race Official Authority: If a race official determines that a participant must stop and withdraw from the event for safety, medical or rule-related reasons, the participant must immediately follow the official’s instructions and leave the course.
Penalties and Disqualifications
Penalties: A 5-minute penalty may be applied for minor infractions, including littering, receiving outside assistance or failing to follow the marked course.
Disqualifications: Unsportsmanlike conduct, ignoring official instructions, intentionally cutting the course, completing any segment without the required equipment or creating a safety risk may result in immediate disqualification.
Medical Support
First Aid: Medical assistance will be available at the start and finish area, as well as at designated points along the course.
Emergency Protocol: In case of an emergency, participants must contact the nearest race official, lifeguard, volunteer or aid station.
Additional Information
Results: Preliminary results will be posted online within 24 hours after the race.
Awards Ceremony: 6:00 PM at The Spot at Solaz.
Weather Policy: The race will take place under most weather conditions. However, the organizers reserve the right to modify, postpone or cancel the event if weather or course conditions represent a safety risk.
