This year the bike course will be more friendly!! Don't get us wrong, you will still have some climbs and technical trail, but the majority of the course will be more open. This time the course is 99% trails, so we won't have ant connection whatsoever with the street.

The terrain is pretty dry and hard packed.

The loop is 15km, so XTERRA Full Athletes will do 2 loops; while Sprint and Duathlon will do 1 loop. The estimated time per loop for a Top age group should be around the 38-40 minute range.

We are really excited to finally use these trails, as Combate is well know in the MTBiking community in Puerto Rico. Some called it MTB town.

The run is a 5km out and back on a hard sand trail covered by trees. It is really nice and it takes you to the "Salinas" were salt is extracted from the sea.
