CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  1. All registrations are non-refundable after the specified cancellation dates. Registration is non-transferable.

  2. Athletes may be eligible for a partial refund of their entry fee (details below)

    • Requests received before 17:00, OCT 04, 2026 will be eligible for an 80% refund of the price paid.

    • Requests received before 17:00, NOV 04, 2026 will be eligible for a 50% refund of the price paid.

    • Any requests received after that will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstance.

    • Athletes who wish to withdraw shall submit the refund by his/herself in XTERRA WeChat Mini-Program. Meanwhile, the athletes will lose their race qualification upon receiving the refund.

  3. For athletes who are unable to participate for whatever the reason after the refund deadline, if they wish to receive the race kit, they should send an email to [email protected] within 7 days after the race before Dec. 13, 2026. The race kit will be sent via cash-on-delivery (COD) & that will only be available within mainland China.

  4. After the refund period has passed, in case of the following special circumstances, athletes can send an email to [email protected] before the race, stating the situation and providing corresponding supporting documents to apply for an event deferral. The event organizing committee will reply to the athletes within 5 working days to confirm whether their deferral request is approved. Any request after the race will not be accepted.

    • Circumstance 1: If an athlete is unable to participate due to hospitalization, he/she should explain the situation in the email and attach a scanned copy of their hospital discharge summary or admission notice.

    • Circumstance 2: If an athlete is unable to participate due to pregnancy, they should explain the situation in the email and attach their hospital medical records, as well as urine and blood test reports for verification.

    • The relevant regulations regarding deferral are as follows:

      • Deferral is only applicable to the same category of the same event in the following year. If the entry fee increases, the athlete needs to pay the price difference.

      • The deferral is allowed only once, and no refund requests will be accepted after the deferral.

      • This does not applicable for athletes who register with a free entry.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Age, calculated by Dec.31, 2026:

    1. 5/8K Family: Kids Age 5-12(Born from 2014 to 2021),Adults Age 18-65

    2. 5/8K Youth Individual : Age 8-17 (Born from 2009 to 2018)

    3. 12K: Athletes Age 15-65(Born from 1961 to 2011)

    4. 20K: Athletes Age 18-65(Born from 1961 to 2008)

    5. 35/55K: Athletes Age 18-63(Born from 1963 to 2008)

  2. Experience

    1. 35K: Must have 15K or longer distance trail run or semi-marathon finishing experience from last two years.

    2. 55K: Must have 30K or longer distance trail run or full-marathon finishing experience from last two years.

    3. Please submit your previous finisher certificate while registering. The registration will be considered successful only after it is approved by the event organizer.

  3. Submission of Medical Examination Reports - 35/55K Only

    1. All 35/55K participants must submit a medical examination report issued by a county-level or higher hospital within the previous 12 months at the athletes' check-in site. The report must include a blood pressure test and 12-lead ECG. Race packets (race bib and GPS device) can not be collected if either test item is missing or any test result is abnormal.

    2. Entry to long-distance categories is prohibited for participants with the following medical histories or conditions: heart disease, arrhythmia, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, pregnancy, severe chronic illnesses, etc.

    3. If a participant conceals pre-existing illnesses to take part in the race, they shall bear all health risks and medical expenses incurred during the event entirely at their own cost.

  4. Health Condition

    1. Please consider your physical fitness. Do not register for the event unless you can finish the race within the closing time. Safety first, the marshal or doctor has the right to suspend the athletes from the competition according to his/her physical condition, and the athletes shall not have any objection.

    2. To participate in this event, please pay attention to your physical health condition. Please consider carefully. Athletes should have a physical examination in a qualified regular medical institution, and those with the following diseases or conditions should not participate in the competition.

    3.    1) Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;

    4.    2) Hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases;

           3) Myocarditis and other heart diseases;

           4) Coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmia;

           5) Diabetes;

           6) Those who drink a lot of alcohol or have insufficient sleep the night before the race;

           7) Patients with infectious diseases and close contacts;

           8) Pregnant women;

           9) Other diseases that are not suitable for exercise.

          Do not hide your health condition and do not participate, otherwise, the participant should be responsible for any accident that might happen during the event. The event organizer shall not be held responsible.

REGISTRATION

  1. To register, please log in to the XTERRA WeChat Mini Program. Limited slots are available, and registration will close once all slots are filled.

  2. Payment:

    2. After completing the payment, the system will send a confirmation email to the registered email address. Once the registration process is completed, for any reason, all registration data cannot be modified.

  3. Important athletes Information, such as the race category, athletes' name, ID number, date of birth, etc., must be carefully verified by the athletes, the guardian of kids players, or legal representatives. If any data errors cause damage to the individual's rights, the responsible party shall bear the responsibility, and no objections will be accepted.

  4. If an invoice is needed, please send email to [email protected] before Dec. 06, 2026, listing out athlete name, ID#, receipt amount and invoice title. Request after that date will not be accepted.

RACE CHECK-IN

  1. All athletes are required to check-in in person.

  3. Check-in Location: China (Wuzhong) Taihu Dongting Biluochun Tea Cultural Park,Suzhou,Jiangsu Province, China

  4. Check-in Process:

    1. Identity verification → Sign the "Liability Waiver" → Collect race kit → Attend technical briefing.

  5. During check-in, participants must present the original identification documents used during registration (ID card, household registration booklet, or passport, etc.).

  6. Athletes must collect their race kit in person using valid identification documents, while underage athletes must be accompanied by their guardians or legal representatives. Participants who fail to meet the qualification requirements or whose guardians or legal representatives do not sign the "Participation Declaration" on-site may be denied race kit giving, and no registration fees will be refunded.

  7. Please check and ensure that the athletes information and race kit are complete and accurate to avoid any inconveniences.

  8. A race briefing will be conducted to explain the race rules, routes, procedures, and important points to the athletes before the race start.

  9. Athletes who fail to check-in within the specified time will automatically lose their race qualifications and will not be allowed to enter the race route. Race Marshals have the authority to stop those athletes without a race bib from participating in the race.

  10. Athletes who are unable to participate in the race due to unforeseen reason and wish to receive race kit should send an email to [email protected] within 7 days after the race before Dec. 13, 2026. The race kit will be sent via cash-on-delivery (COD) and that will only be available within mainland China.

RULES & INFORMATION

A. General

  1. If for any reason an athlete can not finish the race, he/she must report to the finish line area. This will result in a DNF (did not finish) result.

  2. Consider the safety of yourself and other athletes at all times during the race. Treat other athletes, race officials, race marshals, medical staff, traffic enforcers, and spectators with respect and courtesy before, during and after the race.

  3. Participants shall refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct, including the improper use of language or conduct directed toward another participant, race official, race marshal, medical staff or traffic enforcer, and spectators.

  4. Any protest relating to race results must be submitted in writing to the Race Director within one hour of the final race cutoff.

  5. For environmental protection, we advocate:

    1. Littering on the course is prohibited. Any item that needs to be discarded, including water bottles, gel wrappers, energy bar wrappers, or clothing items, can only be discarded at aid / hydration stations.

    2. No disposable water cups for this event. Please bring your own water bottle. A silicon cup will also be provided in the race bag.

    3. Bottle water is neither allowed to be brought to the course, nor taken outside of the SP stations.

    4. Alpenstocks and other auxiliary tools are not recommended during the race.

    5. No smoking in SP stations or on the course.

  6. MP3 players or any kind of personal music / listening devices with headset are highly recommended not to be used at any time during the race for safety concern.

  7. Race bibs and race registration CANNOT be transferred. Athletes found racing under a different name will be disqualified.

  8. In case of severe weather on race day, XTERRA reserves the right to make the necessary adjustments to the racecourse to ensure the safety of all participants. If XTERRA cancelled the race, full payment of the registration fee would be returned to athletes.

B. Penalty Rules

  1. Athletes who engage in the following behaviors, his/her race result will be cancelled:

    1. Intentionally destroying or altering course signages;

    2. Intentionally damaging the equipment of other athletes;

    3. Maliciously obstructing other athletes' progress;

    4. Refusing to attend the award ceremony;

    5. Riding in a vehicle during the race;

    6. Conducting commercial activities without the approval of the organizing committee and refusing to correct it;

    7. Failing to carry the required competition equipment (such as mandatory equipment, not wearing the race bib on the chest, or not using the chip timing device as required) and having a significant impact on competition safety and results;

    8. Refusing inquiries and examinations by medical staff during the event;

    9. Disobeying the instructions of referees, pacemakers, and other violations of the competition rules.

  2. The results of the game will be cancelled, and participation in this event will be prohibited for three years, and the name will be published on the official website of the event for violators who break the following rules:

    1. Athletes who profit from the assistance of others during the competition (such as riding in a car, being supported, etc.);

    2. Those who register for a category that does not match their identity or qualification documents;

    3. Violations of sportsmanship and ethics (such as fighting, insulting referees and event staff, etc.).

C. Timing System & GPS

  1. Each race bib will be attached with a timing chip. The race bib shall be clearly visible on the front of the runner at all times during the race. Failure to wear a race bib, or have no time record at the start, finish and each checkpoint will result in disqualification.

  2. 5/8K Family ( the kid & adult athletes) must cross the finish line hand in hand. The family result will be based on the slower one of the family.

  3. GPS positioning device deposit of RMB 200, 55K athletes to pay the deposit through XTERRA mini app before check-in, return the device after the race, the event organizer will refund the deposit within 5 working days after the race. The deposit is non-refundable if the device is missing.
