The trails in the quiet woods of Lac Delage are about to come alive. After a mid-season reset, the 2025 XTERRA World Cup charges back into the heart of French Canada, where powerful bikers and fast-footed runners face a purpose-built course at Empire 47, one of the largest mountain bike playgrounds in eastern North America.

The 16th edition of the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship takes place this weekend in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), marking the first time the event is held in Europe. Throughout the year, runners have competed across the XTERRA Trail Run World Series, tackling diverse and challenging courses from the wild valleys of South Africa to New Zealand’s volcanic trails.

Beneath misty pine forests and along the mirror-like waters of Longemer Lake, the 18th edition of XTERRA France and 14th year in the Vosges brought the mountain village of Xonrupt-Longemer to life over the weekend of July 5–6, 2025. Nearly 6,000 spectators lined the shores and crowded the forest trails to cheer on more than 2,000 athletes across nine events.

Born on the Riviera, raised in the mountains, and revered around the world, XTERRA France returns July 5–6, 2025, for its 18th edition and 14th year in the Vosges. What started in 2006 in Saint-Raphaël found its soul in Xonrupt-Longemer, where forests rise steeply from the shores of Longemer Lake and the entire valley rallies behind the challenge.

The 15th edition of XTERRA Switzerland took place in the Vallée de la Brévine, where high-alpine terrain and cool summer air welcomed athletes from across Europe and beyond over the weekend of June 21–22. Set beneath the Jura mountains near the French border, the festival atmosphere has become a hallmark of the traditional Swiss stop on the XTERRA World Tour.

Early summer in the Neuchâtel mountains means long days, cool mornings, and clear lake reflections in the Vallée de la Brévine. On June 21–22, the 15th edition of XTERRA Switzerland marks the third straight year this off-road festival returns to Lac des Taillères, a high-alpine basin known for its quiet beauty and open terrain.

In the remote highlands of central France, pine forests stretch toward the sky and ancient trails surround Lac de Vassivière. XTERRA Nouvelle Aquitaine returns for its sixth edition from June 13–14, 2025, drawn once again to a landscape built for exploration.

The Citadel of Namur has seen centuries of history, but once a year, it becomes something else entirely. On June 7, 2025, the ancient fortress will once again echo with the sound of focused footsteps, buzzing bike tires, and climbing cheers as XTERRA Belgium returns for its ninth edition.

On May 24-25, 2025, the mountain town of Paipa, Colombia, played host to a high-altitude weekend of off-road competition that brought together Elite athletes, determined age groupers, and rising youth contenders from across South America and beyond.

Golegã is a place that understands tradition. For centuries, it’s been the beating heart of Portugal’s horse culture with Lusitano stallions parading through cobbled streets. But once a year in late spring, the rhythm shifts. The lagoon fills with wetsuits. Mountain bikes crackle through cork forests. And a rope waits at the riverbank, ready to pull the brave to the finish. This is XTERRA Portugal, where the race becomes part of the landscape and the landscape shapes everyone who is ready for the challenge.

In the emerald peaks of Colombia’s Eastern Cordillera, the mountain town of Paipa, known for hosting demanding events and welcoming competitors with open arms, will host the debut of the XTERRA South American Championship on May 24-25.

Oak Mountain State Park hosted the second-ever XTERRA North American Championship from May 16-18, 2025, where athletes took on the red clay trails of one of the most respected off-road venues in the United States. With 17 years of XTERRA history at this location, the event brought together top elites, age groupers, youth athletes, and a dedicated local community in a place that has been a staple on the U.S. XTERRA calendar since 2006.

Beneath the longleaf pines and across the red clay singletrack of Alabama’s most storied trails, the XTERRA North American Championship returns to Oak Mountain State Park from May 16 to 18 for a three-day gathering built on camaraderie, competition, and connection.

XTERRA’s first-ever race in Borneo took place over the weekend in the lush landscapes of Sarawak, Malaysia, with a powerful display of endurance, culture, and community spirit. The inaugural XTERRA Borneo Sarawak brought off-road racing to the foothills of Mount Pueh, drawing athletes from across Asia and beyond for a full weekend of racing that included triathlons, trail runs, and family-friendly events.

XTERRA Weston Park brought international off-road racing back to the UK for its third edition on May 3-4, stepping into the spotlight as stop 3 of the 2025 XTERRA World Cup Series. The 1,000-acre, traffic-free country estate delivered world-class racing surrounded by a festival environment filled with family and friends.

On the shores of the Athenian Riviera, where turquoise waters meet the southern slopes of Mount Hymettus, the seaside paradise of Vouliagmeni welcomes the XTERRA Community to Greece for the 12th consecutive year.
