Driving Directions

The event site is 30 miles southwest of Portland off Oregon 47. Go west on Highway 8 (Tualatin Valley Highway) through Hillsboro until you see the Forest Grove junction with Highway 47. Go left (south) on Highway 47 to Hagg Lake/Scoggins Valley Park signs (5.9 miles). Turn right at the signs and drive straight to the Park entrance (3.7 miles).

Parking

Our race is at Bobcat Cove, but our parking is at Boat Ramp C.  As you enter Hagg Lake, follow signs to Boat Ramp C.  We must all park in the grass parking lot at Boat Ramp C, do not park in any of the paved parking areas.  It is an easy walk from the parking area to our race venue.  DO NOT PARK AT BOBCAT COVE or drive in that area to drop items off.

We are offering camping at Hagg Lake the night before the XTERRA Portland event - Arrival Friday, July 31st and departure Saturday, August 1st. For all camping registration, make sure you purchase a vehicle/tent space and add the amount of additional, non-driver individuals camping in your space. All vehicles will be required to obtain their own parking passes from the Hagg Lake kiosks prior to arrival. If you are camping, you will need two day passes, one for Friday and one for Saturday. When you arrive at Hagg Lake on July 31st, pick up your camping pass from XTERRA athlete registration during packet pickup hours, and check in all individual campers. All individuals camping will be required to sign the XTERRA Global waiver, so please make sure all guests have stopped by athlete registration even if they are camping and not racing. Camping is not permitted outside this XTERRA Portland event, and prior registration is required. If you have additional questions, email [email protected].

Registration is available through the XTERRA Portland registration flow on Active. If you have already registered for the event and need to add on camping at a later time, please visit My Active Events.

All campers must sign the XTERRA Global waiver. Please visit XTERRA athlete registration during packet pickup hours to fill out the waiver even if you are only camping.

Vehicle/tent camping space must be reserved and attended by an individual that is 18+.

Additional information will be sent closer to the event for all who have signed up to camp overnight.

XTERRA race participants will receive one complimentary meal ticket redeemable at the Birrieria Don Pepe food truck, located onsite at Henry Hagg Lake.

Available meal options will include:

• Taco Plate (2 tacos, rice, and beans)

• Burrito (choice of meat, rice, and beans)

The food truck will be serving from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

Spectators are encouraged to bring their own food and hydration to the event.

Please note that food sales within Henry Hagg Lake are subject to park regulations and onsite vendor restrictions.
