Nestled in the rolling Shropshire countryside near Shifnal, Weston Park is more than just a stately home; it is a 1,000-acre masterpiece of English heritage. Built in 1671 for Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham, the house is a stunning example of Restoration-style architecture, boasting a world-class collection of fine art and tapestry.
The estate is equally famed for its expansive parkland, originally landscaped by the legendary Lancelot "Capability" Brown. Today, it serves as a vibrant cultural hub, hosting everything from the famous Giffords Circus to high-end weddings and seasonal festivals. Whether exploring the Temple of Diana or wandering through the walled gardens, visitors encounter a perfect blend of historic grandeur and tranquil natural beauty. In 1986, the Earl of Bradford gifted the estate to the nation, ensuring this historic gem remains preserved for public enjoyment through the Weston Park Foundation.
Whilst athletes and spectators have access across the Estate Grounds over the weekend, please check the Weston Park Website for opening hours and more details about the Estate.
Spectators are welcome!
After feedback from the 2025 event, spectators are no longer required to purchase entry tickets. But please make sure that all event traffic enters the estate via the Shrewsbury Gate entrance as described above.
