

With over 25 years of history, the O-SEE Challenge is one of the longest-running events on the XTERRA circuit. This three-day festival brings together elite, age-group, and youth athletes from around the world to take on the battle-tested trails of Zittau at Germany’s most renowned off-road triathlon.

/E40 in the direction of Görlitz, exit 91 Weißenberg in the direction of Zittau
Continue on the B178 in the direction of Zittau

E65/R10 direction Turnov
exit 44 on E442 to Bílý Kostel nad Nisou, then on route 35 direction Zittau
Coming from Breslau (PL)
E40/A4 towards Jelenia Góra / Görlitz
Exit 94 Görlitz/Zittau/Reichenbach
Drive through Görlitz on the B115/99 towards Bautzen/Zittau
In Zittau you drive on the “Stadtring” and leave it in the direction of “Oppach” following the B 96.
After approx. 1 km, drive straight ahead at the next crossroads in the direction of Großschönau to the roundabout and take the exit for "Freizeitoase Olbersdorfer See". You will reach the car park after approx. 1 km. From there it is about a 200 m walk to the north beach of the O-See.

No special license is required to race.

Here are the rules that will apply for wetsuits according to water temperature:
Under 20°: wetsuit is allowed - but not mandatory - for everybody
20°+ and under 22°: wetsuit is forbidden for Elite but allowed for age-groupers
22°+ and under 24.5°: wetsuit is forbidden for both Elite ans age-groupers except 60+
24.5° and up: wetsuit is forbidden for everybody

Due to limited capacity, the slot allocations for this event will be done as follows: Direct qualifiers will have the choice to take a slot for either 2026 or 2027, while slots awarded by roll-downs and bonus slots will only be for 2027.
