XTERRA Croatia Mali Lošinj Open Water Swim is an open-water swim race where athletes can put themselves to the test by competing against others, or by conquering the challenge in the beautiful, crystal clear sea of the Čikat Bay.

This is a non-competitive event featuring:
1500m (1 loop) - male & female (18+)
3000m (2 loops) - male & female (18+)
The course and details will be explained in the Athlete Guide. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the course.
The start is at the beach, under the designated XTERRA start arch.
Safety will be provided by rescue boats, SUP boards, and canoes. An ambulance will be on-site.
Athletes in difficulty must raise an arm and shout for help.
Course marshals will monitor correct course completion and adherence to rules.
The finish line is marked by the XTERRA arch on land.
There won't be a cut-off time.
Mass start for both distances at the same time. Nearly to the end of the first loop, 1500m swimmers are moving in the direction of the beach, and 3000m swimmers are going to the 2nd loop around the designated buoy.
Allowed gear: wetsuit, swim cap, goggles, nose clips, earplugs.
Prohibited gear: fins, snorkels, or any equipment deemed to provide undue advantage.
Prohibited actions:
Interfering with or obstructing other athletes
Touching, being towed by, or leaning on fixed or floating objects
Swimming with non-participating swimmers or unauthorized boats
Mandatory:
Event swim cap and timing chip (to be worn at all times and returned post-race).
Athlete Responsibility: each swimmer participates at their own risk, decides whether to stop, and must safeguard their belongings. Organizers are not responsible for accidents, injuries, weather conditions, or property loss. Athletes must respect the environment; waste pollution will result in sanctions.
Course cutting (skipping official buoys) leads to disqualification, recorded by marshals.
