The 21K race is characterized by its long-distance nature, demanding physical fitness, self-sufficiency, and a sense of personal responsibility from the athlete regarding their safety throughout the entire course. A. Mandatory Items – To participate in the race, all athletes must carry the following mandatory items throughout the entire course: adhesive bandages (Band-Aid type), sterile gauze, microporous tape or medical adhesive tape, alcohol wipes or antiseptic solution, an analgesic (e.g., Paracetamol) within its expiration date, an anti-inflammatory (e.g., Ibuprofen) within its expiration date, a thermal blanket in usable condition, a fully functional flashlight, and a container with a minimum capacity of 1 (one) liter of water. B. Recommended Items – It is strongly recommended that the athlete carry a windbreaker, considering potential weather variations along the course. C. Equipment Check – All mandatory items will be verified at the time of kit collection and bib number distribution. D. Course Inspections – The organizers may conduct additional, random inspections along the course without prior notice. E. Penalties – Failure to comply with the mandatory requirement for any of the listed items will result in a penalty of 3 (three) minutes added to the athlete's final race time for each missing item, regardless of when the verification takes place. F. Athlete Responsibility – It is the sole responsibility of the athlete to ensure that all items are in proper working condition and, where applicable, within their expiration dates.
