General Information:

Location: Rancho Santa Elena, Hidalgo
Distance: 1.5K Swim, 32K Bike, 10K Run
Deadline: Registration closes August 14 th 2026
Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Identification: Photo ID required for packet pick-up.
Transition Area Opens: 6:00 AM
Transition Area Closed: 7:45 AM
Race Start: 8:00 AM
Course: 1.5K open water swim.
Wetsuits: Permitted if water temperature is below 24°C (75.2°F).
Swim Caps: Provided and must be worn.
Course: 32K bike on off-road trails with aid stations every 15K.
Helmet: Mandatory at all times while on the bike.
Drafting: Not allowed. Maintain a distance of at least 10 meters from the cyclist in front.
Bike Check: All bikes must be checked and approved during the designated check-in times.
Course: 10K trail run.
Aid Stations: Every 5K with water and energy drinks
Race Number: Must be visible on the front at all times.
Transition Area: Only athletes and officials allowed.
Equipment: All equipment must be placed in designated areas.
Time Limit: Strict time limits for transitions will be enforced.
Penalties: 2-minute penalty for minor infractions (e.g., littering, improper equipment placement).
Disqualifications: Major infractions such as unsportsmanlike conduct, ignoring marshal instructions, or significant drafting violations will result in immediate disqualification.
Medical Support:
First Aid: Available at the start/finish area and at all aid stations.
Emergency Protocols: In case of emergency, contact the nearest race official or aid station.
Results: Preliminary results will be posted online within 24 hours of the race.
Awards Ceremony: 1:30 PM
Weather Policy: The race will proceed rain or shine, but the organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the event in case of severe weather.
