The World's Premier Off-Road Triathlon Series
The XTERRA World Tour is a premium off-road triathlon series designed to give elite and amateur racers the opportunity to take on the toughest terrains across Europe, the Middle-East, Africa, the Americas and the Asia Pacific region as they compete for the right to take on the world’s best at the XTERRA World Championship.
HOW TO QUALIFY
The 2024 World Tour consists of 51 qualifying races across 27 countries, where age groupers must win their division to be awarded a slot to the XTERRA World Championship. Those who do not win their division can still qualify but must finish in a qualifying position. World Tour qualifying events generally offer between 28-58 World Championship slots per race, with an extra qualifying spot added to every division that has 10 or more racers on the starting line.
No at-large entries will be offered for the XTERRA World Championship, meaning those with Championship aspirations must earn it the hard way.
DIVISIONS
XTERRA official divisions are used at every World Tour and Youth Tour qualifying race to award the best athletes in their age-group and to provide slots to the World Championship.
Divisions are calculated using the age of the athlete on 31st December of the calendar year of the event.
Elite: Pro/Top athletes reflecting the highest level of performance in XTERRA. They are the only one eligible for prize money on World Tour events and must therefore comply with the XTERRA Elite specifications.

Age-groupers: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
